Services
There are several HIV programs and services offered throughout the Treasure Coast. The Service section of this website is dedicated to providing information about the Ryan White Part B services, AIDS Drugs Assistance Program (ADAP), and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA), as well as the eligibility process required for each of these programs.
Eligibility
Ryan White Part B, ADAP, and HOPWA services require those seeking services first complete the Florida Department of Health eligibility process . In the Treasure Coast, Project Response, Inc. is responsible for determining eligibility. Once the Eligibility process is complete, friendly staff at Project Response, Inc. will assist you in accessing needed services.
Services Covered
Ryan White Part B
The Ryan White Part B services are made up of two basic types: Core and Support. Core services include: Medical Care, Medical Case Management, Oral Health, Pharmacy, Health Insurance, Mental Health, in addition to several more. The Support services include: Supportive Case Management, Housing, Food, Medical Transportation, Psychosocial Support (Support Groups), in addition to others. This section will provide the service definitions for each service that is funded in the Treasure Coast. AIDS Drugs Assistance Program (ADAP)
ADAP is a state-administered program that provides medications to low-income individuals with HIV disease who have limited or no coverage from private health insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare. Use this section to learn more about the ADAP program and the eligibility requirements.
Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
The HOPWA program provides temporary rent, mortgage, and utilities assistance when the reason for the client’s financial hardship is HIV-related. Case management services are also provided to all HOPWA eligible clients. Use this section to learn more about the HOPWA program and the eligibility requirements.
CNTC Service Guidelines
The CNTC Service Guidelines outline the list of services and activities that Ryan White Part B is able to pay for when funding is available. Although the guidelines include a long list of services, a client may only need and/or meet the requirements to receive certain services. This is determined by both the client’s Case Manager and Medical Providers working together to assess the client’s need and eligibility. Ryan White services require prior authorization. The case managers and medical providers can help with this process.
CNTC Pharmaceutical Formulary
The CNTC Pharmaceutical Formulary outlines the medications that the CNTC has approved to be paid for by Ryan White Part B funding. The Formulary is divided into three sections: Local, ADAP, and Co-pay. Medications and/or co-pays require prior approval and are contingent on funds being available.
2010 Results
The client satisfaction survey is used to learn how clients feel about the services they have received. The CNTC uses the survey results to identify client concerns and determine opportunities for improving the Ryan White Part B and/or HOPWA services. This survey is completed once a year.
